Yesterday I took a day off of work and went to the International Autoshow of the Midland in Omaha. There was a lot of great cars to checkout but the one that caught my eye and pulled at my heart was this beauty right here.

Since it was a show there was a lot of other sheet metal and carbon fiber eye candy to check out. Sorry about some of these pics I didn’t realize that I fat fingered in some setting on my phone’s camera (like square photos).

I’m surprised at how thick the door sill is on the MacLaren. I guess it needs the structural support somewhere.

The GT Hawk is one of those rare cases where the facelift actually looks even better than the original, to my eyes at least.

While it’s a neat car today, back when it was new, that Studebaker’s styling was 5-10 years behind the times. Studebaker was trying to sell that when Rambler, Chevy, Ford and Dodge were selling these:

On top of that, the Studebaker was BOF while much of the competition (like the Rambler) had unibody. And their engines weren’t competitive either.
